Nope.
nope, hypnosis is grossly misunderstood. the individual CANNOT be forced into anything. hypnotists use “suggestion” its means they put you in a comfortable state and guide you through a process and make suggestions, which can kind of convince you to behave a certain way or recall certain events, but only if the individual is willing. in stage hypnotism shows they hypnotist is very good at picking out people who are easily persuaded and suggestible…the kind of guy who wouldn’t be too embarrassed doing the chicken dance in front of a crowd of people. So if you’ve got a deep dark secret you truly don’t want out, it wont come out. but if subconsciously you do want it out, it will come out. they also don’t go digging around for secrets, they honestly just don’t care. hope this helps
It depends on the approach the hypnotist takes.
People usually get this idea from seeing hypnotic regression like the scene in ‘Good Will Hunting’ where a hypnotist takes Matt Damon’s character back into his childhood. Regression is one of many therapeutic techniques that a hypnotist can use to help a person overcome problems, but not all therapists use it. It is certainly less likely to be successful if you do not want it to work.
So you might deliberately seek out a hypnotist or therapist trained in CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) for example, which deals much more with your present thoughts than your past experiences. Get some recommendations from a professional body for hypnotists in your area, express your concerns and ask them about how they work.
In general though, I would say that the more you’re willing to reveal about your life to a therapist, the more they are going to be able to help you. If you find one that you trust and feel comfortable with, that should be fairly comfortable to do. Take your time to find someone who you feel happy to open up to, even if that happens slowly.
Hello Drew
No, you will be fine. Your subconscious will protect you at all stages.

it will not happen unless you make it happen.- there is no reason for the hypnotist to even ask the question.
